Details emerge on Jay-Z and Kanye's "Watch The Throne"

The rumors - unfounded - came and went that the highly anticipated Jay-Z and Kanye West collaboration "Watch the Throne" would be released July 4. The record remains unreleased but there's a pre-order page for it.

Billboard reports Jay-Z held a listening session for the album and posted details on its Twitter page. Among the revelations: "Kanye and Jay-Z recorded whole album together, in same rooms. Didn't want to mail verses back and forth," tweeted Billboard.

There's a song-by-song breakdown over at AllHipHop.com. (Fun fact: Journalists were asked not to quote lyrics because some of them may change. So may song titles.)

After hearing the album, Chuck Creekmur writes, "[T]hat is the beauty of 'Watch The Throne.' Everybody won't love it and others will swear by it. It will be the topic of debates and hate. Through it all, it's very cool to see Hip-Hop artist evolving creatively. Fearlessly."

Beyoncé pens the ultimate kiss off in the video for “Best Thing I Never Had,” the second single from her No. 1 album 4. The Diane Martel-directed clip flashes back to a teenage B attending the prom with her high school sweetheart, who leaves her on the dance floor and flirts with another girl. But years later, it’s B who gets the last laugh when she walks down the aisle with her new husband. Don’t miss the fairytale ending

Gucci Mane Released From Jail,Immediately Hits Up Strip Club

Gucci Mane wasted no time getting back into the swing of things following his release from Fulton County jail yesterday.

AllHipHop reports Gucci partied last night at Club Onyx, an Atlanta strip joint. The 1017 Brick Squad CEO also dropped a new mixtape “Writings on the Wall 2.”

Gucci had been locked up since April following numerous probation violations stemming from a 2005 aggravated assault case. Most recently Gucci was accused of pushing a woman out of his moving car after she refused to have sex for money with him. His attorney Ashutosh Joshi told MTV yesterday that his client's probation from that 2005 case would be completed once he was released.

Beyoncé Hits The Charts @ #1

The fourth solo effort from the pop superstar enters at No. 1 with 310,000 copies sold in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. 4 becomes Beyoncé’s fourth solo No. 1, making her the third act following Britney Spears and DMX to see their first four studio albums debut atop the Billboard 200.

The album, which includes the singles “Run the World (Girls) and “Best Thing I Never Had,” also claims the third-largest sales week of the year following Lady Gaga’s Born This Way (1.1 million) and Adele’s 21 (351,000).

4 is No. 1 throughout the world, including the U.K. where it sold 89,000 units in the first week, giving her her second No. 1 album in the country.

Despite the respectable numbers, the project is the lowest opening week of Beyoncé’s career. 2008’s I Am … Sasha Fierce entered with 482,000, B’Day bowed with 541,000 in 2006, and her debut Dangerously in Love arrived in 2003 with 317,000.

Elsewhere on the Billboard 200, Big Sean enters at No. 3 with 87,000 copies of his G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam debut Finally Famous.
