Rihanna's 'Loud' tour brings in $90 Million Dollars

Rihanna worked her tail off in 2011 and it paid off big time. The singer's "Loud" tour grossed an incredible $90 million dollars, placing it at No. 9 among all tours for the year.

Riri battled through a brief hospitalization in November due to severe exhaustion to complete the 78 city, 6-month tour, which hit North America, South America and Europe.

The trek bested tours by heavy hitters such as Sade, Paul McCartney, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. The only female artist with a higher 2011 tour gross was Taylor Swift, who raked in $104 million to place 4th on the list.

Only one rap tour managed to crack the top 25. Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Watch The Throne" trek grossed $48.3 million to earn the No. 23 spot.

South Africa here Comes LIL WAYNE & EMINEM

Weezy revealed the news yesterday on his Facebook page. The two rap titans will be hitting Fiji, Australia and South Africa.

The full tour itinerary has yet to be announced, but the two are scheduled to perform in Melbourne, Australia on December 1st, followed by Sydney on December 4th. Wayne had previously announced he would be playing shows in the South African cities of Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban starting on December 7th as part of his I Am Still Music tour. The shows in Africa will also feature Young Money artists Mack Maine, Gudda Gudda, Cory Gunz, Shanelle, Jae Millz and T-Streets according to MediaUpdate. The demand for tickets is Durban has been so high a second show had to added. At this point it is not known whether or not Eminem will be playing any of the previously scheduled Lil Wayne shows in South Africa or if more dates are being added. This tour looks like it’s pretty amazing! Breezy always puts on a good show, and with his first major tour in quite some time…you know he’s going all out. A fan caught footage last night of Chris’s performance for “Beautiful People” and between the singing, the dancing and all of the lights…I’m blown away! Jay-Z & Kanye West- TOUR DATES

Jay-Z and Kanye West have kept fans waiting with news of their heavily-guarded album Watch the Throne, but the hip-hop titans finally made it official by announcing the formation of their supergroup, an official album release date, and a once-in-a-lifetime tour.

The rappers have combined their talents to create a group dubbed “The Throne” and will release their collaborative album exclusively to iTunes on August 8. It will be available at additional physical and digital retailers on August 12 featuring the lead track “Otis,” as well as contributions from Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, Mr Hudson, The Neptunes, and RZA.

On the same day as the iTunes release, tickets for their fall tour will go on sale to the public. The North American trek kicks off September 22 in Detroit and travels to cities including Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Atlanta, currently wrapping November 3 in Boston.

Starting July 28, fans that visit Live Nation’s website will have access to pre-sale tickets, which includes a digital copy of the album.

Lil Kim Rocks Zimbabwe's First Zarfest Concert

Lil Kim made Rocked out in Zimbabwe as she took the stage at the inaugural Zarfest in the capital city of Harare.

Kim rocked the crowd with some of her classic hits before paying homage to Notorious B.I.G. and Michael Jackson. The Queen Bee performed "One More Chance" and "Juicy" followed by Billie Jean to close out her set.

Ciara and DJ Scratch also performed at the event, while Timbaland was a no show.

A video message from Timbo was played for the disappointed crowd, explaining that he wouldn't be able to make it due to unforseen difficulties that were out of his control.

The four day music festival now moves on to South Africa for shows in Durban (June 1), Cape Town (June 2) and Johannesburg (June 3).
