Lil Wayne continues his winning streak. After selling nearly a million copies of Tha Carter IV, the hip-hop heavyweight has been nominated a record-breaking 18 times at the BET Hip-Hop Awards ’11. Weezy scores his nominations in the coveted categories of Lyricist of the Year, MVP of the Year, and Video of the Year for “I’m on One” and “Look at Me Now,” which he shares with Chris Brown and Busta Rhymes. Trailing behind Weezy are Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa, who tied with nine nods each including MVP of the Year. Rick Ross follows with eight and Chris Brown nabs six.
