Robbery Suspect, Called His Victim For A Date





Dating 101: If you've just robbed a girl, don't try calling her for a date.

Dating 102: If you still really want a date, don't assault the girl you just robbed and her mom.

John Jardini, a 26-year-old from Pittsburgh, faces charges for allegedly taking $60 from a woman he approached on the street, according to told KDKA-TV.

Jardini then called the woman twice to ask if she had a boyfriend and if she wanted to go on a date, according to the news station.

The woman called police, who started tracking Jardini through his phone records, UPI reported. But before they could pinpoint Jardini's exact location, they received a report that the alleged robber was attacking the same girl and her mother outside a nearby market.

Cops collared the lovestruck loser, and identified him as the same guy who had robbed her earlier that day.

"How could you be that damn stupid, that dumb?" Mary Lou Parker, a neighbor, told KDKA-TV.

Jardini was charged with robbery and assault and ordered held in jail without bail.

Rats in McDonald's Buns (VIDEO)


A Philadelphia McDonald’s restaurant is in the news after a former employee released a cell phone video showing live rats scurrying over and around hamburger buns.
According to Fox News affiliate in Philadelphia, Karrium Demaio said he frequently saw mouse droppings on bread, and was told by the restaurant manager to brush the droppings off the bread, throw out the chewed bread and serve the rest to customers.

10 Days In Jail For 10 Pounds Of Marijuana




An Illinois man caught driving through South Dakota with 10 pounds of marijuana in his car was ordered to serve 10 days in jail, although the felony possession could have earned him up to 15 years in prison.

Jonathan Zupkus, 37, of east central Donovan, Ill. pleaded guilty to possessing more than 10 pounds of the drug after being arrested Aug. 26 during a routine traffic stop near Rapid City, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Judge Jeff Davis of the 7th Circuit Court " target="_hplink">granted Zupkus' request for a suspended imposition of sentence, which will eventually seal the felony arrest, according to the Rapid City Journal. Zupkus requested the suspension because he frequently works as a "figure model" in schools.

Davis sentenced Zupkus to 90 days in jail, but gave him credit for six days previously served, suspending all but 10 days, the Journal reports. Zupkus must also complete obtain a sponsor at Narcotics Anonymous, complete a chemical dependency evaluation and submit to random drug testing.
