See How Much $$$ Chief Keef makes @ 17
After Chief Keef was taken into custody for violating his probation, the documents from court were leaked, and showed that the Chicago teen is making BANK! His deal with Interscope locked him in for 3 albums, but it came at quite a nice paycheck. The thing is, he won’t see that money until he’s 18…though that’s only less than 8 months away! Find out how much he got below.
Not only did Keef sign the deal for 3 albums, he also got a separate deal for his own record label…allowing him to bring in around $6 million in the next three years!
Though he won’t get the money until he’s 18, he did get a $440,000 advance (half up front and half after a judge signs off on the deal.) He also got at least $300,000 for album expenses. But…there’s a catch! If Finally Rich doesn’t move at least 250k units by December 2013 (which will have given it one full year on shelves…FYI it did 50k the first week out), Interscope can then void the contract of his future obligations…and money!
That’s just his solo deal, though. As for the deal for his own label, he got a separate three-year deal to establish Glory Boyz Entertainment, aka GBE. For that, he got yet another $440,000 advance.
Seems like he’s doing pretty damn well! You can read more details on his mula over at DNA Info. Hopefully these next few months in a juvenile detention center will straighten him out so he stays out of trouble and does some positive things with this money!

DIDDY # 1 FORBES LIST OF HIP-HOP’S Richest
Sean “Diddy” Combs finds himself in a familiar spot. The Bad Boy mogul reigns at No. 1 on the Forbes Five, a short list of hip-hop’s top-earning artists, edging out his peers including Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and Birdman.
Diddy has a net worth of $550 million, according to Forbes. The bulk of his wealth flows from his share of profits in Ciroc vodka. He also owns clothing lines Sean John and Enyce, marketing firm Blue Flame, record label Bad Boy, and various tech startups. In 2013, he looks to increase his bank roll with the launch of his first cable network Revolt.
In second place is Jay-Z, who earned $460 million. His pockets were fattened by the “Watch the Throne” tour with Kanye West and $150 million deal with Live Nation in 2008. Other lucrative ventures include his stake in the New Jersey Nets, 40/40 Club, ad firm Translation, and cosmetics company Carol’s Daughter.
Although he hasn’t released an album in over a decade, Dr. Dre ranks third with $270 million, doubling his earnings from a year ago thanks to a deal with HTC. In August, the handset maker paid $300 million to buy a 51% stake in Beats Electronics, the company Dre founded with Jimmy Iovine.
Birdman flies in at No. 4 with $125 million. The Cash Money Records founder inked a $30 million distribution deal with Universal in 1998 and continues to profit with a star-studded roster including Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj.
“One of my motivations in life is to be a billionaire,” Birdman told Forbes. “We’re going to keep working hard until we get our brand to be as big as possible. That’s the goal in life, that’s what I live for.”
Rounding out the Forbes Five is 50 Cent with $110 million. The G-Unit mogul earned $100 million after selling his stake in vitaminwater in 2007. Despite his absence from music, he continues to collect checks with his movie roles, books, and new headphone line SMS. He also gives back through his Street King energy drink, which aims to provide a million meals to impoverished nations.

JAY-Z TOPS FORBES’ HIP-HOP CASH KINGS LIST

Jay-Z is having the best week ever. With Watch the Throne set to debut at No. 1 on the charts, the rap titan also reigns atop Forbes’ annual Cash Kings list.
The magazine has declared the Roc Nation mogul as hip-hop’s top earner with $37 million made in the past 12 months. He tops the list for the fourth time in five years thanks to tour sales, his ongoing $150 million Live Nation deal, and stakes in the New Jersey Nets and 40/40 club.
Following in close second is hip-hop impresario Sean “Diddy” Combs, who banked $35 million in the past year with roughly half of his earnings coming from Ciroc vodka.

Jay’s partner in rhyme Kanye West claims third place, returning to the top three for the first time since 2009. Lil Wayne ties with his YMCMB comrade Birdman for fourth ($15 million), Eminem, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg rack up $14 million each, and Wiz Khalifa, Pitbull, and B.o.B are among the new entries.
Nicki Minaj becomes the first female to make the list at No. 15 with $6.5 million. The Young Money diva burst onto the scene with her platinum debut Pink Friday, tours with Lil Wayne and Britney Spears, and endorsement deals with M•A•C Cosmetics and Casio.
