CHARLIE WILSON Tribute at The BET Awards


Charlie Wilson was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards on Sunday. He received a star-studded tribute from India.Arie, Jamie Foxx, and Stevie Wonder, who covered his classics. Justin Timberlake presented him with the award before he hit the stage to perform a medley of Charlie’s hits with some help from Pharrell, Snoop Dogg, and the man himself.

SNOOP DOGG – LET THE BASS GO (VIDEO)


Snoop Dogg races across the finish line in the high-speed video for “Let the Bass Go,” his contribution to DreamWorks’ animated comedy Turbo. The West Coast icon drives his fast car to a victory in the partly-animated clip, directed by Benny Boom. Snoop plays a “slick-talking, slow-walking” snail named Smoove Move in the film, which hits theaters on July 17.

Snoop got Paris to take her first swig of Colt 45 malt liquor.

2 Pac Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg @ Coachella 2012




They managed to pull everyone on Stage, Eminem, 50 cent, Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa, Kurupt ,Warren G and a Tupac hologram

Footage of Frank Sinatra introduced “California Love,” as Dre and Snoop turned the field into one giant West Coast party with everyone singing along.


The duo capped their historic set with “What’s My Name?” and “Still D.R.E.” “I want to say thank you for the love for all these years,” said Dre as he and Snoop disappeared below the stage.

They will perform again during the second weekend of Coachella on April 22.

Snoop Dogg Arrested In Texas

TMZ has reported that Snoop’s tour bus was stopped at a border checkpoint in West Texas. During the Border Patrol agents’ routine search of the bus, a K-9 reacted to something in a waste basket. Police said they found a prescription bottle with several joints inside, adding up to just under half an ounce of marijuana. According to TMZ.com, Snoop claimed responsibility for the marijuana since he has a prescription in California, but Texas has a zero-tolerance policy. He was issued a citation for misdemeanor drug possession and released, but will face up to 180 days in jail.

JAY-Z TOPS FORBES’ HIP-HOP CASH KINGS LIST



Jay-Z is having the best week ever. With Watch the Throne set to debut at No. 1 on the charts, the rap titan also reigns atop Forbes’ annual Cash Kings list.


The magazine has declared the Roc Nation mogul as hip-hop’s top earner with $37 million made in the past 12 months. He tops the list for the fourth time in five years thanks to tour sales, his ongoing $150 million Live Nation deal, and stakes in the New Jersey Nets and 40/40 club.

Following in close second is hip-hop impresario Sean “Diddy” Combs, who banked $35 million in the past year with roughly half of his earnings coming from Ciroc vodka.

Jay’s partner in rhyme Kanye West claims third place, returning to the top three for the first time since 2009. Lil Wayne ties with his YMCMB comrade Birdman for fourth ($15 million), Eminem, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg rack up $14 million each, and Wiz Khalifa, Pitbull, and B.o.B are among the new entries.

Nicki Minaj becomes the first female to make the list at No. 15 with $6.5 million. The Young Money diva burst onto the scene with her platinum debut Pink Friday, tours with Lil Wayne and Britney Spears, and endorsement deals with M•A•C Cosmetics and Casio.
