BIG SEAN TAKES PLEA DEAL IN SEXUAL MISCONDUCT CASE

In August, Big Sean was arrested in New York after a young woman made a complaint against him to police claiming she had been sexually assaulted. The charges resulting from the arrest were forcible touching, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, and third degree sex abuse. Well, now it looks like the issue has been resolved.

Yesterday, Big Sean accepted a deal for a lesser charge, pleading guilty to a misdemeanor for unlawful imprisonment. For his guilty plea, he was ordered to pay a $750 dollar fine, which he did immediately. His lawyer, Scott Leemon, told XXL:

I am pleased to announce that after further investigation the Niagra County District Attorney’s Office decided not to pursue any of the sexual misconduct allegations against Mr. Anderson. As a result in order to get this entire ordeal behind him Mr. Anderson agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unlawful imprisonment with a $750 fine. Mr. Anderson regrets any misunderstandings that occurred that day and reiterates he did not engage in any type of sexual misconduct.

According to XXL, the second man involved in the incident, a friend of Big Sean, accepted the same plea deal.
